Positive Conflict Resolution Program at Mississauga Chapter

 

Too much anger can be costly, both physically and emotionally. Most kids & teenagers can use their anger in appropriate ways in some situations, and yet be ineffective in others. This program aspires to reduce levels of anger, especially in provocative situations. Participants will learn effective coping behaviors to stop escalation and to resolve conflicts..

Program topics include:

  • Anger Management Skills and Concepts
  • Problem Solving Skills
  • Coping Skills
  • Conflict Resolution Skills
  • Increased Self Control
  • Increased Self-Esteem and Confidence
  • Increased Positive attitude
  • Healthy alternatives to acting out anger

 

Ages: 8-11 & 12-16

 

Fee: $125 LDA members / $ 150 non-members

 

Class Time: Friday evenings 

 

# of classes: 10

 

Location: 165 Dundas St. West, Suite 400, Mississauga, On.

 

Registration: Must register prior to first class. Late enrolment not accepted.
